TenderHearted’s October Community Ventures

October has been a breezy whirlwind of community ventures for TenderHearted!

Last week:

On Thursday we had the pleasure of sponsoring in Rufty Holmes Senior Center’s Autumn Festival (see picture). We were able to share about our services and play cornhole with seniors while they enjoyed live music, dancing demonstrations, and fair style necessities.

Friday was the perfect day for a delicious bowl of chili. We were honored participate in Brookdale Lexington‘s chili cook-off and after the votes were tallied it turns out that TenderHearted’s chicken chili was the winner!

Saturday was a fun morning at a health fair hosted by Woodleaf United Methodist Church. Seniors in the community came out to learn about all the health care resources available to them including TenderHearted’s new home care packages*.
